Chef Adam Hanry Takes Top Honors
SOLGOHACHIA, AR. (November 23, 2009) – Ozark Conference Center chef voted “best in state” for dessert
Solgohachia – Executive Chef Adam Hanry of Ozark Conference Center won first place and a gold medal for his “Best Dessert”, a standing ice cream cone sundae at the Arkansas Hospitality Association’s 2009 Arkansas (AHA) Chef Challenge September 22 in Little Rock. Chef Hanry also received a silver medal for his appetizer entry, Fried Pork Rinds with a Mango Mustard Sauce.
AHA, the official voice of the state’s restaurant, lodging, travel, and tourism industry, hosted the Arkansas’ Chef Challenge as part of the 65th Annual AHA Convention and Tradeshow at the State House Convention Center in Little Rock. An estimated 2,500 attended this year’s show.
Ozark Conference Center is a ministry based camp and retreat center located in Solgohachia, AR 7 miles north of Morrilton 800, feet atop Jenkins Mountain. The center is available for ministry events, education conferences, business retreats, corporate outings and special events.
