Welcome

Ozark Conference Center is a full-service, interdenominational adult conference center that places special emphasis on camping for children and youth. Ozark is located on 325 acres atop Jenkins Mountain in Solgohachia, Arkansas. Solgohachia has a Native American heritage since it was one of the stopping places on the "Trail of Tears" and there are several legends about the origin of the name. Some say the name comes from a Native American name meaning "a hole in the mountain" while others think the town was named for a favorite warrior of the Cherokee tribe named Sol, who was unusually good with his hatchet.Whatever the name or history, after many years as a nomadic ministry, God led the founders and leaders of Ozark Conference Center to a home on one of the most beautiful mountaintops in Arkansas. Labor Day Family Camp Update

Family Camp over Labor Day weekend was a smash hit! Thanks to the 94 people who attended, we had great time of fellowship, laughter, worship and teaching. Tim Senn from Bible Church of LIttle Rock led some amazing teaching times on the Beatitudes. Worship leaders included the talents of Tony Weston, Seth Singleton and a young mime group from Crosslife Church in Eldorado.

The 51 kids in attendance enjoyed teachings on Genesis Creation, riding around in a train, a hayride, parachute games, boating, fishing, ziplining, and water olympics. The mountain came alive with families enjoying each other, bikes cruising and some great theme costumes showing up for parties. Thank you to all who attended for making it another memorable weekend on the hill.

Night the Lights Went Out
By Charlotte Hodge

We all have our stories to tell about the times the electricity has gone out at home or office, but this time the lights went out in downtown Morrilton. And, I happened to be right downtown at the Rialto Theatre. It happened Thursday night, June 25, just as Lulu (“Hee Haw” TV star) took the stage as the main attraction for Gospel Night, a kickoff of sorts for the Great Arkansas Pig Out, sponsored by Ozark Conference Center. Approximately 300 to 350 fans were gathered to enjoy the gospel singing and then the portion of the star’s contribution to the successful night.  >> READ MORE
